[sword-devel] Web applications

I write a client-side Web application (related to Sword). I tried to call my 
Java .class files from a browser (Mozilla 1.0) through JavaScript but that 
caused crashing of browser or otherwise haven't worked.

Any other means of creating client side Web applications among 
JavasScript+Java? (Just JavaScript is probably not enough as I need complex 
things such as XML parsing and JavaScript by itself is probably to slow.)
