[sword-devel] Thai and Unicode

Good day,

Along the lines of the note written by Richard, I'd like to express my
interest in more support for Thai (and Unicode). I have talked via e-mail
with Chris about this and done some of my own experimentation. Getting
Windows to work well with non-Roman scripts and multiple languages is tough.
However, I do hope that a way can be found to fix the search problem and
other features in Sword API's with Unicode.

My programming ability is limited and C++ is not one of my possibilities
(Visual Basic is). So, I hope that someone could tweak the API's and the
ActiveX control to work better with Unicode and Windows 98 and above. There
are many languages in the world that do not use Romanized characters and do
not have as many resources as 'Westerners' either.

Adrian
