I'm runnings win xp prof
res 1152x 864 32 bit (ATI Rage 128)
no direct3d draw
AMD 1500 XP 1.3 Ghz
256 MB RAM

A. Problems:
-----------------

1. As was pointed out Strongs No. 00433 (Hebrew) has the same problem =
as the JFB module. (too small)
2. As was pointed out the list in preferences (special modules) for =
Greek definitions doesn't allow for Thayer's Greek Concordance, only =
Strongs
3. Is there no Hebrew parser? if there is, It is not on the list
4. The option to include cantillation marks has been removed
5. the tooltip for "bookmark" is "Yoyo"
6. As has been pointed out the searching needs to be unicode enabled. =
(perhaps simply allowing for a change of font in the search window
7. In times new roman, the BHS module seems to have squares that weren't =
there before.
8. As has been pointed out the Personal Commentary doesn't work
9. There is a bit of confusion between Naves and Nave lexicon module, =
are both the same, which is the updated one?

B. Corrected:
-----------------

1. the JFB module seems to be corrected in this latest version?
I went back to the previous version and compared: Gen 1:9 and Matthew =
5:18 for example, is in the old (too small) and in the update corrected.

I am not 100% sure about this

C. Suggestions:
--------------------

1. Bookmarks, data that includes the module (i.e. which bible must be =
referred to in the Bookmark, so its easy to jump to that module.
2. It would be better to have a better back button, that applies to a =
specific module (in a drop-down list).
3. It would be a good jump to have the Greek modules have the =
diacritical & accent marks etc. rather than simply the letters, I don't =
know how possible this is?
4. The Apocrypha/Pseudepigrapha option needs to be added
5. It would be helpful to increase font sizes of the various tabs, on =
1152x864 they're a bit tiny.
6. It would be nice to to make the selected tab bold to indicate =
selection
7. There is still no way of knowing which section is selected =
(Lexicon/Bible/Commentary)
8. It would be nice to include the ability to lock the toolbar for =
inadvertant clicks, thus destroying the layout.
9. The various checkmarks for adding or removing various aspects, =
should perhaps be given a more logical and categorised flow. It is very =
bulky and unappealling having all the options lumped together. It would =
be great to have the options on the toolbar itself, for easy on/off =
switching.
10. the footnotes and headings make the modules complicated, =
unattractive and confusing. It might be better to have a separate =
window beneath the bible but above the lexicons, just to show footnotes, =
and have a number reference in the module. (I mean this is what a =
footnote is !!)
11. I have yet to see the headings? Are they there, can someone give me =
a reference to look at them?
12. The Personal Commentary needs a save/update button
13. It might be better to allow the user to attach a name to the =
personal commentary, such that the personal commentary remains clear, =
and the user's commentary becomes fixed.
14. the Biblical references are highlighted and clear, but why not, make =
them like hyperlinks and if the user clicks them, they jump to the =
verse?
15. Preferences seems to get lost under all the options, and doesn't =
really apply. Maybe it should be under "Tools".
16. A Quick Reference help sheet for searching has a help button could =
be added to the "search window"

D. Questions:
-----------------

1. there should be a space between the Hebrew in the BDB and the =
transliteration that follows.
2. Is there a Japanese Bible?
3. Is it not possible to do a line return after each verse in the =
Chinese Bibles? that may alleviate some of the problems?
4. There are a lot of abbreviations, acronyms etc. in use through the =
various lexicon and commentaries, if someone could develop a help file =
explaining these abbreviations, it would help those not accustomed to =
them?

Unfortunately, this a computer with western style line reading. the =
screen is too small to fit all the text onto a single line, it is =
therefore inappropriate to expect vertical and horizontal alignment.

E. No Problems:
---------------------

1. The discussion on the "changing font" in the various Unicode Modules =
is fine my end, everything works fine.

F. Copyright
-----------------

1. The structure of the wording in the help file on locked modules =
indicates that copyrights are not necessarily given because it means =
that user can copy the text out.
If this is the case, then logically, it should be possible to prevent =
the user (in a locked module) from copying and pasting the text. The =
actual modules themselves could be encrypted which essentially fulfills =
the requirements of illegal copying?
