While using test-e, I got the following message box:

Access violation at address 00489AD7 in module 'sword.exe'. Read of address 00000000.

KJV open to John 13:10, JFB in commentary window. I was in the Options menu,
looking for the way to turn off Strong's numbers. Didn't see it, so I selected "Preferences",
and kapow. Oddly enough, after hitting OK, the preferences window came up and seemed to work. Dismissed the
pref window and did Options->Preferences again, and pref window came up with no problem. I haven't been able
to reproduce so far. This was a clean install of 1.5.3, then loading test-d executable, running it a few times,
then (this morning) loading test-e. W2K server, all service packs and security patches.

I notice also that in the Special Modules tab, I can select either Strong's Hebrew or BDB for
Hebrew definitions, but can only select Strong's for Greek (Thayer doesn't seem to be
a choice).

Hope this is of some help. Sorry it isn't in the form of patches.

Faithfully,

-- Perry
