well, it's on a par with installmanager at least :)

If there is anyone else out there on the list using Debian you can now install your 
modules with apt etc.
Just add
deb http://www.crosswire.org/~glasseyes/debian unstable main
to your sources.list and away you go.
Note that the debs are built with an autoscript and are mostly untested. Bug reports 
appreciated.

P.S. I don't know how to word it as a news item but it would be great if it could be
