Hi,

what do you think of the proposal of the in- and output filters for the
different 
encodings?
It would be great to have a separate object like swcodec or similar which is

accessible by the apps, so that sword internally uses it for encoding
conversion and 
that apps can use it too.

On sourceforge there is a task saying "restructure class interface and make
the 
entire api more cohesive". Is this still planned? Maybe the new encoding
object could 
be introduced while the api is changed anyway? And in this motion apocrapha
support 
and support for different versification schemes as well as the new language
format 
(maybe swlocale needs to be changed) could be implemented. A humble request,
I know.
