I once suggested that the software and content development be split and
separate email lists be provided. And if any classification of translations
was going to be provided then a group should be formed apart from the
development groups. Ideally, that classification group would have no
official connection to the development groups. Distributors of content
could check with the classification group and then indicate that an item is
rated by the xyz as high/low regard, un/orthodox. Distributors would be
free to carry or not carry an item or to use or not use the rating system.
