[sword-devel] HTML Sword sync

Scott,
Sorry no one has answered your question. I personally don't know about linking into the Sword program.

But I do want to add that I too would like to see some type of archive available for old messages because I am sure a lot of these questions are repeated. I had requested that a newsgroup would be used in place of this mailing list because it seems like a lot of ideas are fired off and then die out before a decision is ever made. I think it is too easy to unintentionally forget about some of the topics here. One such topic is picking for a name for the Win32 frontend? Or how about the CD-ROM issue. Did that get worked out? Do we have two CD's now? And there are other messages that just get buried. At least with a newsgroup we can see the history of messages and see where a discussion started and where the discussion left off. We then can come late into a discussion and not be lost as to what everyone is talking about. Anyone have any comments?
In Christ,
David Trotz

Subject: [sword-devel] HTML Sword sync

Hello

I am new to this list so I hope this is the right forum
to ask these questions.

First, is there an archive of this list so that I don't
ask questions that have already been answered?

Second, One of the lecturers at Carey Baptist College
has most of his course notes in HTML. He would like to
be able to add hyperlinks into the notes that when
clicked they would automatically sync (and load Sword if
not already running) the text displayed in the Sword
program. This would be in a Win 9x environment. Does
such a feature exist and if so where will I find the
details. If not, pointers (and ideas) as to the best
place to integrate this into Sword would be much
appreciated.

Thanks
Scott Newton
