Has anyone attempted to put together a module for the book by Oswald Chambers
called "My Utmost For His Highest"?

If you are unfamiliar with the book, it is a book with daily readins from the
Bible along with Commentary by Oswald Chambers. The book has been around for
some time and is quite well known in certian Christian circles.

I have started a PERL script to open GnomeSword to the scripture passage
Oswald Chambers refers to for a particular day. It would be nice to
incorporate his book into a Commentary module. If somebody can give me some
pointers on how to prepare modules, I am willing to put "My Utmost For His
Highest" into the Sword Project

It seems to me that this would be a natural extension of a reading planner
project.

David,

Your reading planner idea sounds pretty cool. It seems like a great way of
using Sword in a new way and it seems like Sword could really help with the
development of such a project just by allowing users to pick and choose
their own translations or study aids.

I don't think you need to worry about stepping on anyone's toes as you work
on it because we wouldn't all be working on an open source software library
if we didn't want it to be used. :) Quite the opposite, in fact, I think
we're concentrating more lately on getting others to use the library who
have either been using their own proprietary systems or are considering
doing so. The more the merrier, I would say, both of developers working on
Sword and projects using it.

So welcome to the project. :)
