It is a "translation" that puts the text into a hillbilly style.

Optimistically, I guess it could be called a "fun" translation.  But I
think many would consider it irreverant.  I would probably fall in the
latter camp.

I don't know enough of the translation to know if it is heretical, I just
know a little of the style used.
