Todd (I'm CC:ing the dev list, also),
Thank you for the file. I've unzipped the package and see that you
have rearranged things considerably. This makes it hard to integrate
into the existing source tree. I really appreciate the effort you've
done and can definitely take advantage of it, but might you take some
time to create a directory in a fresh source tree, like
.../sword-1.5.1a/build/VC/dll/ and place a project here that will build
a dll from the api? I hope I'm not asking too much, but this will allow
your build system to exist in the source tree as it progresses, and not
have to branch off into a separate VC thread.
Thank you again, I will post what you have given me on the developers'
site at:
ttp://www.crosswire.org/sword/ALPHAcckswwlkrfre22034820285912/alpha/swordvc-1.5.1.tar.gz
-Troy.
PS. I know this might sound strange, but you can create a directory on
your windoze box: C:\etc where you can place a sword.conf file with the
contents like this:
[Install]
DataPath=/Program Files/CrossWire/The SWORD Project/
Your development environment will then use the modules found in this
directory. You might even be able to get away with specifying a drive
letter before that path, but I'm not sure.
