Patrick,

I think:
//GI at attributeName
should be //GI/@attributeName

Also because OSIS elements must be namespace qualified the XPath would
not really be correct without //osis:GI/@attributeName (where xmlns:osis
is specified) unless we want to say that the OSIS namespace is implied.
