Patrick,
Are you asking do we think that Conformance Requirements is a first
appendix or what we think about the contents of Conformance
Requirements.
For validation it might be nice to have a set of "tests" that must all
be passed in order to be valid. Those tests could then be implemented
with a program, XSLT, or the like.
It would be nice to have a page at www.bibletechnologies.net where a
person can submit a document and get either a list of issues or a
"valid" response.
Example test statements:
1) All prefixes used in osisID, osisRef, annotateRef, lemma, and (what
am I forgetting) attributes must have a corresponding osisWork attribute
value within a <work> element in the <header>.
2) All milestone containers must have matched pairs of sID and eID
values and must be used exactly once.
3) The value of <identifier type="OSIS"> must conform to the syntax
specified in section [x] of this document.
