I'm back! I'm going to read and reply to a couple of these messages
in the order in which they were received, so if I reply to soemthing that
was later resolved, please ignore me. Heck, you can ignore me anyway.

Identifying a paragraph as "Mark 1:1-9" is useful if you have a
transformation between the two different markup systems that connects
Mark 1:1-9 and NRSVA.Mark.1.1, NRSVA.Mark.1.2, ..., NRSVA.Mark.1.9.  I don't
think a way of defining the transformation has yet been defined, but I did
proposed one: a file with one versification scheme and osisIDs such as
"Mark.1.1-9" could have osisRefs added connecting it to another
versification
scheme.

E.g.

<p osisID="Mark.1.1_9">
<reference osisRef="NRSVA.Mark.1.1"/>	(or use milestone, or ??)
<reference osisRef="NRSVA.Mark.1.2"/>
...
<reference osisRef="NRSVA.Mark.1.9"/>
Here is the text of Mark 1:1-9...
</p>

Or maybe even
<reference osisRef="NRSVA.Mark.1.1-Mark.1.9" />

So, if I try to jump to the equivalent of NRSVA.Mark.1.5 in the CEV, I'd
have to refer to the transformation document above to figure out where to
jump.
