Hi Martin,<br>
<br>
Great work. It is *very* nice to have genbook availability, and I know
the UI is tough. I really appreciate your efforts.<br>
<br>
A few suggestions:<br>
The genbook keys are currently presented as a simple list. I
understand that the "tiered" list is very tough, but navigation through
this list can be a bit confusing. I suggest that a (I think) simple
change be made that helps orient the user and make moderately-sized
genbooks easier to use. For each depth level, add a dot or similar
character before the key in the list. This would give a visual
indicator of general structure. For instance, a list might look like:<br>
<br>
Part 1<br>
»Section 1<br>
»Section 2<br>
»»Subpart 1<br>
»»Subpart 2<br>
»Section 3<br>
Part 2<br>
»Section 1<br>
»Section 2<br>
<br>
the second suggestion is to allow bookmarks for genbooks<br>
<br>
The third is unrelated to genbooks, but rather to general bookmark
usage. I love the "labels" (in my mind categories) for the bookmarks,
and would like to see them be expanded a bit. For instance, I'd like
to be able to set the "default" label. This way, when I'm adding a
bunch of bookmarks on one topic, they all get the same label. Also, if
I navigate to a bookmark in the labeled category "Lesson2", then later
go to the bookmarks again, it would be nice if it defaulted to
"Lesson2" bookmarks. This would speed the process of digging through
multiple related bookmarks.<br>
<br>
Christ's blessings,<br>
Brian<br>

<div style="border-collapse: separate;">Many thanks to Guan who has
done an excellent job selecting an appropriate Lucene Analyzer (<a
moz-do-not-send="true" href="http://code.google.com/p/mmseg4j/"
target="_blank">mmseg4j</a>), integrated, and tested it. The Chinese
analyzer used by JSword was too resource hungry for mobile phones and
so, prior to Guan's work, had been disabled.</div>

</b></div>
<div style="border-collapse: separate;"><b>Books & Xiphos</b></div>
<div style="border-collapse: separate;">These took a bit longer than
expected. Android has no tree control so I use a long list for the
contents. You can use the Speech Control to speak any module type
including General Books and it normally works well. I have enjoyed
listening to Hodge's Systematic Theology recently. Xiphos repo
contains some good books and so some of the books you see in the
download list are from the Xiphos repo but integration with Xiphos is
not yet perfect so I manually included a few selected books and also
Gills Commentary.</div>
