<div>Hi Joshua,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Hebrew fonts have only just become part of the latest Android OSS but there are patches to include the Hebrew fonts in older versions of Android. I haven't tried any yet so I wouldn't like to recommend any of the patches. If you try and succeed then maybe you could feed back. The greek diacritic problem may also be a font issue. Have you tried Greek & Hebrew in an Android 2.2 emulator - v2.2 comes with Hebrew fonts?<br>
</div>
<div>Feel free to contribute a patch for the search button.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I must confess that texting verses to friends is not high on my todo list but if you would like to work on this then feel free.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Best regards</div>

<p>I recently got a samsung captivate and set up the current version of the and-bible. I had some ideas for development:</p>
<p>The search button seems to go to web search instead of book search. That seems like an relatively easy fix.</p>
<p>I downloaded the aleppo codex hebrew bible and the text doesn't seem to work. Also, the greek text is lacking diacritics.</p>
<p>It'd be cool to be able to select verses/paragraphs and send them via text/facebook/email.</p>
<p>Anyway, I'd like to join the project and work on these kinds of things (though others might be working on similar issues). How do I go about doing that?</p><br>_______________________________________________<br>mobile-devel mailing list<br>
