I noticed the same thing. I believe it has something to do with the way
I handle the flick and scroll, and it being interrupted temporarily by
window messages. I plan to look more into this soon.<br>

<pre wrap="">Testing the most recent beta of SwordReader, I am enjoying the added functionality of commentaries and dictionaries. I was running the beta on an iPaq hx1200-something (can't remember) with WM5. Previous versions never seemed to have problems with the flick and scroll, but while listening to a sermon on Genesis 24 this morning I turned on the footnotes and cross-references for the ESV, and periodically the display would freeze while scrolling. I only noticed it when crossreferences were enabled.

Ken,
That is very encouraging. I will look into getting the characters to
read in the correct direction. It may not be in the next release, but
who knows.

<pre wrap="">Yes, I'm running Swordreader v1.9 beta 1.
I solved one of the problems: By copying the Tahoma fonts from my desktop to my HTC Diamond \Windows\Fonts folder, what were boxes are now Hebrew characters. Unfortunately, they are not displayed in proper Hebrew order, right-to-left. Still, this is an improvement.

<pre wrap="">First, welcome to this list. If you are using SwordReader with Windows
Mobile on a Pocket PC then, yes you have come to the right place.
Sadly, this edition which is the latest, does not yet support Hebrew (at
all) or even Greek with accents. Both are on the todo list, but please
be very patient as there is only one developer, David Trotz, who is
actively working on this project, snd he is to say the least, stretched.
I hope this excellent app. is useful to you in the meantime. Keep your
eyes open for updates. This list should keep you informed. Don't
forget to say which app you are using when asking questions - there is a
SwordReader list which is even more specific (assuming you are using
SwordReader).
God bless,
Barry
