Perhaps, Forward and Back are per tab (Maybe settable in options as
global/local), but the history list is global.<br>

Never considered that. The problem exists already. If you begin to edit
a tab that is currently untitled or one that was brought up by clicking
on a daily reading, but don't finish your edit and then click on a
daily reading (any one for an untitled tab or the same one for the
other case), it will wipe out your changes.<br>

Is this a problem that should be addressed? If so, we can add a notion
of isModified to the PassageSelectPane and not target tabs that are
modified.<br>

find the view that fully includes the reference, open that tab and<br>
scroll to that reference.<br>
