Let's target Good Friday for a release of 0.9.9. We could even

Indexing has the same problem. A simple interim fix would be to remove the
ability to cancel a download or indexing. This will minimize the problem
that if either of these do not go to completion that the install will be
corrupted, requiring manual intervention. It will still happen if the user
closes the program, the program abnormally terminates, the computer reboots,
....
A better solution would be to do the work to an alternate name and rename
upon completion. When the job starts it could look for previous failed
attempts and clean it up if needed.
There are probably other solutions as well.

I don't think we can push this past 1.0, simply because indexing takes
so long, many people will badly need to cancel out.

I went back to 0.9.8 and I agree that where we are today is such an
improvement that we are almost ready to declare 0.9.9, even if it means
that we have a 0.9.95 (i.e. a third public beta).<br>

I think that we should come to some kind of resolution/improvement on
the remaining 0.9.9 issues in Jira and fix the apparent bug, then do
0.9.9, even if there is more that should have been done.<br>

Specifically, I think we should solve the following:<br>
On the main screen there is a button to the right of the bible picker
that does nothing. (implement it or temporarily remove it)<br>
Match does not work. (implement it or temporarily remove it)<br>
Searching does not refresh the screen correctly. (fix it)<br>
Blur has refresh issues. (fix it)<br>

And I would like to finish the change I am working on now, at least in
part. The first step is to add options to the view menu to control what
is displayed. This will meld the three xslt into a single file and
allow the user to parameterize the call. I might not get to switching
to the right reference by then, but I will have made significant
progress toward that goal.<br>

So far I have split out the protocol dict: into 5 protocols:<br>
dict: for dictionary lookups<br>
gdef: for greek definition look up (greek strongs)<br>
hdef: for hebrew definition look up (hebrew strongs)<br>
gmorph and hmorph: for future support of greek and hebrew morphologies.
