The upshot is that glibc, for a routine that is causing the problem, is
now checking it parameters against the spec and Sun's javaws is calling
it in a lazy fashion. The upshot is that glibc is not honoring the old
request.<br>

The bug has been fixed and will be released in JDK 1.5 point release 2.
There was no mention of fixing it in 1.4.<br>

My guess is that those that have FC3 will have the expertise to get the
jars and run the program between now and when the fix is released.<br>
