Just wanted to say STEP 2.0 has now released. You can find it here:

www.stepbible.org.

One of STEP's main goals is to help people access the underlying Greek and
Hebrew meanings, without the need for any ancient language knowledge. For
example, the search box allows a user to select Greek or Hebrew words by
typing in English, while hovering over a verse number gives a full
description of the original vocabulary of that verse.

Many many thanks to all those who have contributed to the JSword software
and the SWORD project. Decades of invested effort in making Bibles
accessible and whose work we have been able to build on, has allowed for
STEP to be born.
