[jsword-devel] Extending Lucene Indexes and stemming in particular

Chris,

I read through mail chains, to figure out how stemming is causing the
no-hit on 'genealogy'.
As long as both the *query* and *indexing* go through exactly same
Analyzer(stemming), it should match. Regardless if stem is 'genealogi' or
'genealog'

True that stemming will result in more results than user wants. We can help
user to skim result fast, by doing:
 - STORE & highlight matched tokens of the verse.
 - Group the result verses (lucene field grouping) by Preset Range or Books
- I plan to work on this, so any feedbacks welcome.
 - Faceted search: will require more index fields, may be an overkill for
jsword
 - Help user reissue better query: auto-suggest, spelling correction, show
'related query' etc
