Chris,
It is the same place for both JSword and Eloquent:
~/Library/Application Support/Sword.
The problem is that the double click unzip program uncompresses in place and creates a folder whose name is the same as the file w/o extension. They will have to copy the resulting files to the correct location. The second problem is that the location ~/Library is hidden by default and takes some special key and menu combinations to make it visible.
If they don't like that they'd have to use unzip from the command line, which will do the expected operation. The ~/Library is not hidden there.
It'd be far better for us to add an unzip capability to JSword, i.e. given a path to a zipped module, it is uncompressed to the right location. On Windows, the location varies wildly depending on which version of the OS they have and whether they have it set up for roaming/local profiles. There's a Jira issue for this.
One of the features of Xiphos is to allow the zipping of modules as well. That's a pretty cool way of archiving them for later use.
