[jsword-devel] Startup times double after recent changes to JSword

When I went from JSword R2139 to R2158 there was a significant increase in
startup time.  I have a slow Android mobile and startup time for And Bible
on my mobile went from just over 20 secs to just under 40 secs.

My startup time used to be about 18 seconds a few months ago so I think
there may also have been a slight increase in startup times prior to R2139
of just a few seconds but I might be mistaken.

The increase in startup time between R2139 and R2158 is quite significant.
Could you tell me where to possibly start looking for the performance loss?
