I'm preparing the 1.0.8 release.

I think that I have applied everyone's patches. I did Benny's German  
translation earlier today. Let me know if I haven't gotten to yours.

Also, are there any things that must be fixed before the release?
The big one for me is that there are certain offline situations where  
BD hangs for a long time (10 minutes or so) and then gives control  
back to the user.
Also, Peter reports that in Farsi, the number part of Biblical  
references are "backward" This is the last big thing to do before a  
Farsi release.

I try to keep the nightly build fairly stable, so I don't have a  
problem with pointing people to it.
After the release, I hope to be able to get parallel viewing of Bibles  
to use their own fonts.
