This is what I get:


cvs checkout -P jsword (in directory C:\jsword)
cvs server: Updating jsword
cvs server: failed to create lock directory for `/usr/local/cvsroot/jsword'
(/usr/local/cvsroot/jsword/#cvs.lock): Permission denied
cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository
`/usr/local/cvsroot/jsword'
cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
