On Friday morning June, 23

 

Chris "Mongo" Kulman  from Niagara Wi. ,

Bass player/vocalist  in Bit o Jane ,

Passed away @ Desert Sam hospital in Mesa Az.

due to an infection from a back operation.

 

He was a great musician and incredible vocalist

(who could sing like an angel when he wanted to.)

He was a fun band mate, good friend and gentle giant.

I will miss him for a long,long time as will so many
others.

Chris is to be cremated after the viewing and the

Chris's mom is a real sweetheart and good cook( how do
you think Mongo got that big?) I had the pleasure of
seeing her on several occasions during our Bit o Jane
tours.  She is a widow ,a hard worker and loving
mother ( Chris's father passed away when chris was 14
I believe).  I suggest we show our love for Mongo by
sending her our cards , gifts, money and heartfelt
condolences.

Mongo also has 2 cool brothers who also would
appreciate our best wishes.

 

This email is going to C.C to everyone so we can start
an email list and chat because I know that many of you
in Arizona are going to want to have a great gig and
gathering to remember our brother mongo.  I guess I
will miss it if it is before september but I will be
there in spirit with KR and my little boy BT2...

 

If these emails bug or offend anyone I apologize.  You
will just have to show some respect and wait for it to
subside.

There are many people who want to put together
something for the Big Man in Az.  I am going to put
there names and number down. Hopefully we can set up a
chat room or something so ideas can be exchanged and
we can really come up with a fitting celebration for
the life of our friend Chris.
