There is a first attempt at a bibletime 2.7~rc1-1 package for Lucid in
the pkgcrosswire developer-testing PPA now. See

Since you "just switched back to Linux", I take it you are running
Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid? At some point I'll probably get packages for Hardy,
Intrepid, Jaunty, Karmic and Maverick (!) built too, but that can
probably wait until the official 2.7 release, or at least until the
newly-reported possibly release critical bug in 2.7.rc1 is dealt with.
And unless someone needs them right away, I'll hold off on uploading
anything for Debian until we have the official 2.7 release.
