[bt-devel] git help

I'm fairly sure that it can do so. I have no idea whether it does so
automatically or if not, how one would go about it.  I suppose it would
involve creating a repo, pulling in the trunk branch and then each
tag/branch.

bzr has a layout closer to subversion where each branch is in a different
directory instead of just switched between branches in a common tree. That
is why bzr will use branch for both the local branch and the remote
branching instead of git using clone. They really are making a branch of
that particular directory (in my mind that is still conceptually easier and
my fingers find it easier to work with as well). I'm sure someone has given
a good tutorial on automatically pulling all the branches and tags into bzr.
