Summary: Application fails on start up
Initial Comment:
On starting the application from a desktop icon, the application greeting loads, then changes to the application desktop, at which point it immediately fails. This problem occurs under KDE 3.5 and under KDE 4.2 (using COMPIZ). I am running Open SUSE 11.1, and have used this application successfully under Open SUSE 11.0. I am also successfully running it under another username on the same system, the only difference being that more books are installed in the problem version.

It appears this one was fixed with Sword 1.6.0, can you please update both
Sword and BT and confirm?

Can you please provide more information, are there any error messages on
the console, a crash dump or something?

Message:
I too have this problem. Upon suggestion from a help forum, I deleted the
.sword folder, and Bibletime started. Of course, I did not have any
optional modules available. When I installed my usual modules, upon the
very last install, Bibletime crashed, and it returned to the above
mentioned fail situation.
I run Linux Mint 6.1 x64 edition, kernel 2.6.27-14-generic, with KDE 4.1.
