I think what you are looking for here is addressed by the whole new
alternate versification capabilities in the as-yet-unreleased SWORD
1.5.12 library code.  Once (1) that code is published in an official
SWORD release, and (2) updated modules are released that make use of it,
and (3) the front end applications (BibleTime, Xiphos, and others) are
updated to use the new facilities in the library (phew!), *then* you
should find substantial improvement in the handling of works that use
non-KJV versification.

But I'm not any kind of expert on this (I don't even play one on TV!)...
the above is just based on my own understanding of a major new feature
of the next release of SWORD.
