I don't have problems either, it works fine.
Couple of minor things found:
"Case Sensitive" should be "Case sensitive".
Also I wonder if "Text to find:" is necessary. There is the window
title, and the user probably knows he has opened the Find dialog. It
just takes valuable space for no good reason. (KDE3 Kate Find Text
dialog is NOT a good example of good usability IMHO. It could be much
less space consuming.)
The KDE4 KWrite Find bar gives a hint for saving space. The dialog could
have a popup menu button for toggle options (like a display window
"Display settings" button). Then there could be only the text box and
one line of buttons: Options, Find and Close. Options would have "Case
sensitive" and "Find backwards". But these are suggestions only and
under discussion.
Usually the Find dialog is modal (or at least stays on top), otherwise
it gets lost behind the other window when you click something. It's
quite annoying to dig it up again.
For quick fixes I suggest these: Remove the "Text to find" line and
possibly put "Find:" before the text box. Change S to s. Make the dialog
stay on top.
