For those acquainted with the Hebrew and Greek alphabets and languages it would be great to be able to search those texts in the same manner one can search the English text.

Yes, I agree. The only module that has lemmas is the MorphGNT, and it is
Beta. However, the development version of jsword/Bible Desktop now support
searching by Greek Lemma in MorphGNT. It's really not much to code, it's
mostly just copying the strong code for lucene indexing and changing
strongs->lemma.

It is possible already. The only problem is how to write the search text.
You can use the KDE keyboard switching tool or copy/paste the text. For
some Greek modules the Strong's number search is another way to search
specific words.
