I have long been suspected of having magical powers... in reality I
had built the sword-1.5.9 libraries quite some time ago, and since
then there have been updates to CUrl and ICU in the apt-get/fink
repositories. I suspect that the new versions weren't linked against
the old sword library properly, since I had manually installed sword
back in about May. I'll rebuild sword for the next time I compile BT
and see how it works then.

I had already run the make install and was running it from
./install/bin/bibletime.app - the runtime errors are not specific to
BT at this time. I still can't get *any* of the KDE4 apps to run on
OS X, and since my Uni has all torrent activity blocked, I can't try
downloading the pre-built binaries for OS X, as I have only so far
located them in torrent files.

I'll work on getting the standard KDE4 apps running properly when I
have a chance to hop on IRC and talk with the KDE4 people, unless
anyone here has experience with KDE4 on other platforms?
