Summary: Some Strong's words are missing
Initial Comment:
I was studying Luke 9:23-27, looking at the Greek words via the Strong's numbers. In verse 23 I got the feeling that a word was missing, but I figured the Bible translators had maybe just filled in an obvious gap. But then when I got to verse 27 BibleTime told me that "the kingdom of God" consisted only of "ho" and "ho." Only two "the" words? That's a little too large of a "gap" to fill in.
So I booted into Windows and ran The Sword Project's software and sure enough there were more words: ho basileia ho theos.
I checked a second time on another laptop running Ubuntu and BibleTime 1.6.4 and had the same results. When I mouse-over "kingdom" and "God" both times the word "ho" is all that shows in the left margin. Even if I intentionally highlight a word on a line above or below, rather than the "the" next to one of those words, the display still changes to show "ho."
My machine is running Gentoo with BibleTime 1.6.3 compiled from source. I downloaded and installed the latest 1.6.5 from source (unfortunately Gentoo is still only offering v1.6.3 even with unstable ~x86 accept flag). Same results with v1.6.5.
This bug makes BibleTime a poor (and perhaps dangerous in light of James 3:1) tool to offer for peoples' study.
Thank you for all you do.

You are right, eelik: I missed the scroll bars. I presumed it was showing
me the Greek word for whatever I had my mouse over. Sometimes I can
imagine why showing two words in the left window would be necessary, but
when there actually is a one-to-one correlation I don't know why this is
done. It sure caught me off-guard. Sorry.
Pardon the off-topic remark, too: I should have not said it worded my
closing comment better. It is a matter of great concern to me to be very
cautious when presenting God's word, so I was just trying to echo the
warning given in James chapter 3. I did not mean to say, "this software
should be scrapped" which is perhaps how I came across; I like BibleTime
and am very glad it exists. But, as you say, all English transalations
have error, that's why I am more and more finding the Greek and Hebrew to
be so valuable.
Thanks for your response. :-)
Please close this ticket and attribute it to a "human bug." :-)

Our support for strongs and lemmas may be buggy in some situations but I
don't find a bug here. Maybe you didn't notice that the Mag window can be
scrolled down? The mag view is not the best possible, it should be
enhanced, but technically it is correct. If you really can't find the words
there it's also possible that the text module is some older version.
Offtopic:
"This bug makes BibleTime a poor (and perhaps dangerous in light of James
3:1) tool to offer for peoples' study." If that is true then people
should not use BibleTime or actually any other application for BibleStudy
because all software has bugs. People should also avoid reading printed
Bibles because all of them have some spelling mistakes (see for example
http://www.bible.org/page.php?page_id=1823).
