That happens because I couldn't test and fix after the latest changes.
In my copy I disabled creating the htmlview so I can run the binary now
without the crash. Here is the reason for your problem:

(BibleTime 1.6.4_KDE4port+svn) WARNING: Object::connect: No such signal
CMainIndex::createReadDisplayWindow(ListCSwordModuleInfo,QString)
(BibleTime 1.6.4_KDE4port+svn) WARNING: Object::connect: No such signal
CMainIndex::createWriteDisplayWindow(CSwordModuleInfo*,QString,CDisplayWindow::WriteWindowType)
(BibleTime 1.6.4_KDE4port+svn) WARNING: Object::connect: No such signal
CMainIndex::signalSwordSetupChanged()

I think it's better that I'll fix this one because I know the code
better.

The htmlview constructor problem is more serious and I would definitely
appreciate help there. If it is a permanent feature in KDE we have to
solve it anyways before we can continue. If it is a bug in KDE we might
be the only ones to find it and we should report it, otherwise we have
to act like it was a permanent feature. If it is something with my
system only it's better to know it as soon as possible so that I don't
have to spend time in the wrong place.

So, if possible, please update to KDE 3.95 and test it.
