Initial Comment:
I had forgotten how to work with bookmarks in BT. 
I scrolled through the opening page of the handbook, but did not see any information about footnotes.
Trying the Glossary and Search (on the left side of the handbook) did not give information about the handbook but general KED information (Top-Level Documentation
UNIX manual pages keditbookmarks - Konqueror Bookmark Editor)
-> Build in a tool to get information about the topics of the handbook.
