Summary: KJV-NT: Footnotes not showing up
Initial Comment:
In King James Version 2.3 (1769 with Strong Numbers)
the footnote in the NT show only up by the title
FOOTNOTE, but does not show, what the footnote says.
Strong numbers work correctly.

Hi Wolfgang.
With CVS I always refer to the current state of our
development repository, which you can checkout and build if
you like, but that may be too complicated. This repository
will be the basis for all future versions of BibleTime.
Regarding your problem, I guess that there might be some
file/directory permission problems on your system. I am not
sure but in the version I re-downloaded from crosswire, the
footnotes are not available any more in the text! So
something might be messed up on your system. Does this only
happen for the KJV?

Hi,
I unstinalled KJV, reinstalled by downloading. Trying to
open it lets BT crash, starting BT again and looking at the
KJV/NT footnotes, there are still the titles there.
I tested to download the Bible/German/Schlachter and opened
it (without restarting BT) and it did not crash.
So I uninstalled and downloaded/installed KJV again to see,
what happens:
Uninstalling KJV lets BT crash.
Restarting BT does not show KJV in the bookshelf any more.
Trying to download it again: It is shown in the remote
crossword libary.
I download it and try to activate it at the bookshelf, but
it does not show there.
Looking at the remote crossword library, it does not show
there either.
Closing bibles in the Bookshelf and trying to open it again,
crahses BT.
Restarting BT, shows KJV now. Moving the cursor over a
footnote in the NT still shows FOTENOTE, but no text.
With CVS you mean BT 1.6.1 or one of the the pre-leases to it?

Wolfgang, please uninstall the KJV and re-download it. Then
the problem should go away even without my change.

Fixed in CVS. These footnotes must not be displayed, they
are from the tagging process.
