[bt-devel] 1.6beta1 -- suggestion

I should be able to do this tonight.  I have worked with progress 
dialogs before and they can be troublesome.  There seems to be some 
mechanism that waits a predefined time before painting or updating the 
dialog window when it first pops up.

I will do my best to finish this.
