Summary: howto license problem
Initial Comment:
Hi,
There is a problem distributing the howto document in
Debian since it is unmodifiable.
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=331547
As it stands I will have to remove the bible study
howto from the sources for Debian. I'll do that when I
upload 1.6
Would it be ok for me to add a --disable-howto
configure option that will disable building and
installing the howto - before the release of 1.6? That
way I could just delete the howto files from the source
and the build system will still be happy.
Regards,
Daniel

Yes. But users must explicitly enable this to take effect,
and it does not need to be documented.
This will apply to bibletime-i18n as well.
Another option might be to move bibletime and
bibletime-i18n to non-free? Probably not better.
This sucks. I know it is not your fault. =)
If you want this in the sources before the release, you'll
have to hurry. But you can also merge later.
