Hi, Note this: > bibletime-1.6beta2_1.6beta2-1_i386.deb The package's name is here bibletime-1.6beta2, which is different than the already installed bibletime. Make sure that you tell checkinstall to use the name bibletime and the version 1.6beta2. That should work. Joachim
