I did additional testing with bold and underline and here
are my findings:
With the display style 'simple':

- Underline:
does not show up at all. I tested the project from with the
Osis export was created in Bibledit and created for printing
purposes an pdf output, and the underline style is created
(so this is not a font-problem, being not able to underline).

- Bold:
 shows only in Genesis 1, not in other chapters or other books.
If a project does not contain Genesis, it does not show bold
(but it shows italic).

OK, I sent it (both the Osis and the Sword module),
but a message came back:

--- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<thedeveloper at users.sourceforge.net>
    (reason: 552 Message size exceeds maximum permitted)

The message had a total over 3 MB, what is the maximum
allowed for you?

You may email it to thedeveloper at users.sourceforge.net

And I'm looking for both formats ideally, but the /mods.d
and /modules files first

OK, two things I have to know in order to do this:

What is your mail addresse to mail the full module?
And what do you want exactly:
- the sword_osis_input.txt (exported from Bibledit, which is
used to produce the Sword module
- or the bible in the two folders: /mods.d and /modules

If you could attach or send me a full module already in
sword module format that would be more helpful. I need to
run it through bibletime and see what html output it is
generating, and then also what the osis filter is
generating from sword, since the display templates do work
I have confirmed with that with the NET bible and cvs
(display templates have not changed after the beta as of
this writing).

If it is a potentially commercial (ie locked) module then I
can let you know of some secure ways to send outside of the
tracker

I installed BT 1.6beta1 a week ago.
I attach an example module to this message, where 'Word' is
rendered with different styles (bold, underline, italic)

The verse in question is 1John.1.1.
which is imported from:
........
<chapter osisID="1John.1">
    <verse osisID="1John.1.0"></verse>
    <verse osisID="1John.1.1">The <hi type="bold"><hi
type="underline">Word1 </hi></hi> <hi type="italic">Word2
</hi> <hi type="italic">Word3 </hi> <hi type="italic">Word4
</hi> <hi type="italic">Word5 </hi> Word6  <hi
type="italic">Word7 </hi> <hi type="bold">Word8 </hi> <hi
type="italic">Word9 </hi> that gives life<note
type="crossReference">1.1: Jn 1.1 crossreference:
no-caller.</note></div><div type="section">was from the
beginning,</div><div type="section">and this is the
one</div><div type="section">our message is about.</div><div
type="section"></div><div type="section">Our ears have
heard,</div><div type="section">our own eyes have

What version of Bibletime? I did much fixing of bold and
italics for the templates in cvs for 1.6. It should be in
the beta. I haven't seen how it marks it up but bold and
italics both work in the upcoming NET Module for the bible
texts. And I tested all templates, though Simple doesn't
show quite correctly for the current verse due to
everything being bold. Perhaps if I could get one of the
modules in question I could get a better idea of what's
going on.

Checking und Settings->ConfigureBibletime->Display ->

Trying it out with out templates: Simple, Default, Green,
High Contrast: same result.

Display templates are used to render the text once
bibletime has parsed it and turned it into HTML. They are
simply an advanced CSS file. I assure you the bold,
italics, etc within the module are being changed to <span
class="bold"> tags, but the display template may or may not
have formatting to go with that. If you let me know which
templates do this I shall have a look at this more closely.

You can find, and change templates in Settings->Configure
Bibletime->Display Page

Templates: I have no idea, where templates are used in this
process:

- are they used to produce text to be imported into Sword/BT?
The Osis text which was imported into Sword/BT was produced
by Bibledit from a sfm (standard format marker) text.

- are they to switched on /selected within BT (if yes, how
to do it?)

- are they used in any other way?

What display template are you using? This is going to vary
by template (for instance the Simple template may show
something other than bold for bold since that is how the
current verse is highlighted as well)
