There's nothing wrong with it persay It just seems so unatureal. I using the
same stuff as you and it works fiarly well But I had to hack a couple scripts
to get everything to play nice. and I can't force everyone to download
texstars rpm's just to install bibletime. So We wait untill mandrake doese
something better. As for the kde2 libs. Can't say for sure but when they
switched to kde2 from kde1 they kept the libs around for about 2 distro's
later.
