Yes, beta1 includes a basic implementation of General Book Support (GBS). YOu 
can test this by using utilities/genbooktest or by waiting for some books on 
crosswire.org.

Printing, searching and readiong should work. Things like better navigation 
etc. have are on the ToDo list.
