Hello Fred, 

just wanted to let you know of a good site I just found:

http://www.ccss.de/slovo/unifonts.htm (downloads broken, but you can search 
for those files)

You could probably link to this page from our docs.
I just installed Tahoma (using the KControlCenter -- very easy, does even 
print system configuration!) and Lucidia Sans Unicode. Awesome. They display 
good, and KDE3 makes the installation just so easy!

We could consider offering the best free unicode fonts for download on our sf 
page.
