Once we release a stable version of bibletime, the functionality of the already
released parts and the look of the GUI should not change much or often, so if
I structure the handbook correctly, the major portion will not change. I might
break up the .xml files into smaller chunks so that dif will work better. It
will be more obvious which parts have changed than it is now.
Hopefully in the future only the manual parts that actually change will need
translation work, the rest should be usable with no change.
Handbook images for all languages might be a problem, as we need to keep the
size of the file as small as possible, I will compress these files as small as
possible. now they are .png, .jpg would be smaller at some loss of sharpness
at high compression would this be a problem?
I can probably make these images, but I want to get a copy of mandrake 8 before
I try loading a lot of locales.
