Do you really mean libsword._so_?

I can't find it on my system. All my Sword-stuff I managed to
compile previously is in /usr/local/sword/

The last version I managed to compile seems to word ok. I can use
irenaeus and bibletime. (With the restriction of the personal
commentary)
