I need to revise my words.
After a long talk on IRC (irc.openrojects.net, #sword, the sword meeting 
place in the net) it turns out that a wxwindows based project will be started 
which will run on any platform. Thus there is only one codebase to be 
maintained. I expect an "official statement" (papal edict ex cathedra ;) by 
Chris or Troy soon.

Would you be willing to work on such a project too?
