I can't disagree too strongly about Windows, as I use it very little.  I
find however that their Freecell game is better than the ones I have found
for Linux.   ;-)

I feel pretty strongly that cross platform is a better approach, and I have
even considered starting a true cross platform program, possibly using QT. 
However, I have avoided pursuing it based on my schedule, and not wanting
to hinder the development of BT by splitting the effort.

I believe that the current focus of BibleTime is good, especially until
Version 1.0 is complete.

I would not try to convince you to change your view, as I suspect your
desire for a KDE program provides much of your motivation, and it is
leading to a great program.  I also suspect that with your talent and
enthusiasm, the program will get even better.

On a different topic, does anyone know if there are other cross platform
libraries available that would provide a reasonable platform for Bible
study software besides QT?
