The color compilation has to do with the gcc-colorgcc rpm package that was
installed. I rather like it, but it's a matter of personal taste.
As to other problems, they could have occured if you tried to install Mandrake
7.0 over a Redhat box. Some of the RPM's may have conflicted or something.
Just a thought.
BT has built for me, though I haven't tried it in a few weeks.

I've been running Mandrake 7 for quite a while and I haven't had any problems.
So along with Brook, I can test BT.
